About Us

A scenic view of boats at sunset by the marina. — Lacey Elks
A scenic view of boats at sunset by the marina.

Pull into 900 Beach Blvd on any given weekend and you might find a band so good the parking lot fills up before noon. That is exactly what members and guests have discovered at Lacey Elks Lodge 2518, one of the highest-rated fraternal lodges in New Jersey, earning a 4.6-star reputation across more than 340 reviews. The outdoor events draw a crowd, the music is always live, and the atmosphere is the kind that makes strangers feel like regulars by the second drink.

The lodge sits alongside a full marina, giving it a character that most Elks halls simply cannot match. Whether you dock a boat or pull up in a pickup, the welcome is the same: genuine, no-pretense, and rooted in decades of community work across Lacey Township and Ocean County. Members here are described, over and over, as "down to earth" people who give everything they have to the people around them.

Founded under the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 2518 channels its energy into youth programs, veteran support, scholarship drives, and local charitable causes that put real money and real hours back into the neighborhoods that need it most.

What We Offer

Lodge 2518 is one of the go-to hall rental destinations in Ocean County, and the reviews back it up. The space is large enough to handle any size party, from an intimate anniversary dinner to a full-scale fundraiser with a live band and a dance floor packed wall to wall. Booking is straightforward, the staff is hands-on, and the results speak for themselves across dozens of private events each year.

Beyond rentals, the lodge runs a marina facility that adds a coastal dimension few fraternal organizations can offer. Members and guests enjoy outdoor gatherings with waterfront access, seasonal events, and a social calendar that runs year-round. The Elks Lodge bar and lounge serves as a daily gathering spot where members connect, unwind, and catch up after a long day on the water or at work.

Community programs are the backbone of everything here. Scholarship awards, youth initiatives, holiday food drives, and veteran outreach are not side projects at Lodge 2518. They are the reason the lodge exists, and the members treat them that way.

"I was a guest at the lodge/marina. I did not experience the indoor amenities. However, there was an outdoor event in the middle of the afternoon and the band was excellent, the joint was jumping, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. What I did notice was the that everything seemed very well maintained and it was obvious that there was commitment of care. Everyone I met was very friendly. I felt welcomed."

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
